Acceptable use policy
This How2Validate Acceptable Use Policy ("Use Policy") governs your use of the How2Validate CLI tool and any associated services ("Services"). By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Use Policy. Any undefined capitalized terms have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Service.
You agree not to, and will not allow others to, misuse the Services. Misuse includes, but is not limited to:
- Bypassing or compromising security mechanisms or authentication systems in the Services or related infrastructure.
- Disrupting, damaging, or interfering with the normal operation of the Services or systems connected to the Services.
- Submitting, distributing, or executing malware, including viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or any other code intended to disrupt, harm, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Using automated tools (e.g., bots, spiders, scrapers) to extract or interact with the Services in a way not explicitly permitted.
- Infringing on intellectual property rights or violating the privacy or publicity rights of individuals by uploading, sharing, or validating secrets without appropriate authorization or legal rights.
- Using the Services to validate secrets or credentials not owned or legally controlled by you or your organization.
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations, including but not limited to laws related to data protection, cybersecurity, and unauthorized access.
Enforcement
Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of access to the Services, removal of associated data, and/or legal action, where applicable.
